Current state of affairs for type on the web. Some chapters are easy to read for the typography layperson, and some chapters are more technical. Some principles are repeated between chapters, but I enjoyed the different perspectives and styles of the different authors.The basic principles of good typography for print and the web have hardly changed. Poor execution and application of type continues to exist everywhere...just because we own computers and can set our own type, doesn't mean we do it effectively or beautifully. This book lays out some simple rules for all of us to grasp. It's probably easier to see the examples in print. I have a black/white Kindle -- would recommend color if you want to appreciate all the examples.
